OUR PROCESS 3 EASY STEPS

1 – QUOTE
Make an appointment for us to visit your home or business and discuss your needs. We take preliminary measurements of your openings and provide you with a detailed quote within 48 hours. [Book a meeting now].

2 – APPROVE
Once you accept our offer, we take care of all the necessary paperwork including a deposit.

3 – INSTALL
As of February 2022, turnaround time on window and door orders is 8 weeks. Once your windows arrive at our warehouse in Melbourne we schedule with you a convenient time for installation.

IMPORTANT NOTES

MEASUREMENTS
We measure the openings, not the window panes, glass or the frames. We measure from the outside whenever possible. Our estimates include installation and permit fees, unless you prefer your own installers. We do sell our product direct, without installation and permits, offering volume discounts for building contractors.

PAPERWORK
The building department application with a Notice of Commencement filed with either your county or city. The permit review process varies by building department. Sometimes approval is needed from your local Home Owner Association. We always follow up to ensure a smooth process.

STICKERS
Please do not remove any stickers on windows until final inspection has passed and the permit is closed. Inspectors require these stickers!

A NOTE ON BLINDS, DRAPES, VALENCES: ANY EXISTING WINDOW COVERING
Homeowners need to remove all blinds prior to installation of windows. We can remove blinds for no additional charge, however, we are not responsible for blinds that break upon removal. Blinds that seem intact and have been in place for years are often quite brittle and fragile from sun exposure. They may appear to be in good condition but are not able to endure removal and re-installation. So, if your blinds are very important to you it is best have them removed prior to window installation to avoid any mishaps.

STUCCO / DRYWALL DAMAGE
It is common for the interior walls and exterior walls to have marks on them after installation. We will repair these marks. If you have existing matching paint – it is helpful to provide this to us. In addition, for exterior surfaces such as stucco, if you do not have existing paint and live in an association, we will need the paint color. This is usually supplied by the association or the management company. We do our best to match any existing stucco or drywall texture. Once painted these imperfections become difficult to notice unless you are looking closely.

CAN OF WORMS
In some instances, when a window is removed, extensive rot and damage may be found inside your walls. If this is the case, there will be an additional charge to remove the damage and repair it. We will need to remove any rot, mold, or damage that exists prior to installation. Unfortunately, this is not something that can be known of in advance. If this is the case, we assess the condition of the walls and provide you with price to repair the damage. These repairs always contribute to the structural integrity of your home.

SCHEDULE
Our office is closed on Saturdays. We do not schedule any installations on Saturdays.
